buying books for hols on friday what to buy?

i m going to british bookshops on friday and want to buy 2-3 books, what can you recommend?have just read the hand that first held mine and loved it.

My chosen authors would be:
William Boyd
Gerald Seymour
Robert Harris

Douglas Kennedy - all of them are fabulous.

One Day and agree with Mummyisamosnter re Douglas Kennedy though prefer his earlier novels A Special Relationship and The Pursuit of Happiness to more recent stuff.
