Read A Quiet Belief in Angels a couple of years ago and thought is just okay.

Just nfinished reading A Quiet Vendetta and such a gripping read- literally could not put it down.

Anyone read any of the others?

I borrowed "A quiet belief in angels" from library and couldn't get into it.

I will try the Vendetta one.

I also read ?A Quiet Belief in Angels? and absolutely hated it. I was adamant I would never read another of his books but was finally persuaded ? much against my better judgment ? to try ?The Anniversary Man?, which I liked a lot.

It was completely different in both style and tone so I might try another at some point.

I read 'A Quiet Belief In Angels' a few years ago and absolutely hated it. Over-written, pretentious, self-indulgent twaddle.

DP, on the other hand, loved it.

Must try The Anniversary Man, thanks mattellie.

A Quiet Vendetta flips between modern day and the past with a fascinating (and sometimes gruesome)account of one man's experience being in the mafia.

Found it hard to put down!

Candle Moth is excellent - really enjoyed it.

I liked Quiet Belief In Angels. Not fab, but fairly good.

I read Anniversary Man the other week and and thought that was better. Would recommend it for sure.
