Plateau help

I've lost 11lb over about 12 weeks but now seem to be stuck. I just can't seem to lose anymore and am putting on and losing the same pound.

What can I do.

I'm eating

Breakfast - 40g porridge, blueberries, honey
Snack - Benefit cereal bar
Lunch - fruit (strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, banana) with a low fat yogurt
Tea - small portion of curry, or spag Bol, or chicken/ salmon salad/ omelette + salad. I must admit I've been a bit lax with weighing pasta/rice but I have a small portion and it's only the same as what I've had for the past 12 weeks.

I do have a biscuit after my evening meal.

At weekends I have 2 gins on a Friday & Saturday night and I have a bag of crisps as a treat.

What can I do to kick start it again.

Eat less and calorie count alongside ww.. be in a calorie deficit .. you will be eating all the calories you are burning so aren't losing .

The nutra check app is brilliant .. work out your tdee and go for a deficit of a couple of hundred calories ..

I found slimming world worked well until I got to around 10 stone . Then I had to calorie count as I'm short and easily go over my expended calories

Maybe you're not eating enough of the right stuff? I'm following the WW plan and am losing steadily (even though am peri).

Breakfast: 3 scrambled eggs, sometimes with some smoked salmon
Lunch: BIG tuna salad with Greek yoghurt dressing or extra light Mayo
Snacks: Babybel light/yoghurt
Dinner: Baked fish in breadcrumbs, more salad or veg and new potatoes.

If I get hungry in between I grab some grapes or some fat free cottage cheese or some cooked chicken. I try to focus on protein and oh also, drink two litres of water a day.

This works for me as it's all the sorts of food I enjoy. I also go off plan usually on a Friday night and have a takeaway and wine. So far it's working well.

You could try upping your veggies and protein and you might start moving again.

Changed to calorie and counting and it worked.

Weight has started moving again. So glad I did as I was losing hope.

Great .. it really does work .. problem with sw and ww is when you get to nearer your goal you are over eating your tdee ..
