New Member - Help Needed

Ok I know this isn't going to be a popular opening but I'm usually a SW girl. Lost and maintained my weight for years but lock down arrived and I'm struggling to lose the gain and get my head back into that healthy eating space.
So...thought I'd mix it up and take advantage of the WW offer to loose the lockdown put on, get my head back into the game and see what all the WW fuss is about. I've started a new job and think WW may be easier to follow to get that initial gain off.
But....I cant make head nor tail of the app. It shows me my free point food and pint allowance but unless I want to eat, fruit, eggs, veg or chicken breast I don't know what else to do. Where on the app does it show me what the other food values are.
Can someone help me understand how this works please.

Correction...free point allowance (not free pint....wishful thinking perhaps) 😁

If you go into the page with your points on at the top of the page type in the food and it tells you the points.Sometimes you have to change wording or put brands in to find things.
Then you can adjust the weight/size of the portion and allocate it to a meal.
The chat pages are the best place to ask for help as everyone has a friendly and supportive
