Will weigh ins resume? 50% coaches made redundant

Has anyone heard anything about WW express workshops resuming? 50% of coaches have been made redundant, including mine. Live chat are very vague about if/when express ws will re start. Any one any info?

I don’t think the coaches know at the moment. My very good friend is one. I think she said they were making a decision re workshops this week tho.

They’ve all had to reapply for their jobs and request to be either a virtual or workshop coach. My friends gone for virtual, she also teaches some of the live classes on the app.

Seeing her (virtually) on Friday, I’ll let you know if she has any more info.

Hope we get some news soon. Lots of members near me have cancelled their membership in protest over our coach being made redundant. That makes it even more likely there will be no local meetings.

Ha ha, just had an email to say some express workshops resuming from 6 December.

So just checked and all local meetings are now digital only.

Depending on where you are, it looks like they are opening a small amount of express workshops. Which ones open is not just down to ww but also the venue, whether it wants to have ww back, whether it’s allowed to open at all etc.

WW are about to start a six month trial of a digital membership, they were asking for people to sign up to rate it.

It will not have been as out of the blue as that. All coaches had to apply for their jobs and had redundancy consultations. The process has been going on for months.

I know coaches who have been made redundant and others who have taken voluntary redundancy. It won’t have come as a surprise to your coach, as horrible a thing as this is to have gone through.
