Losing weight for IVF

Hi guys,

I've just joined mumsnet and am looking forward to chatting to you all!

I need to lose a minimum of 2 stone in order to qualify for our free round of IVF on the NHS and have had luck with WW green plan before.

I've been awful at trying to lose weight lately. My aim (foolishly) was to lose the weight asap so we could start IVF, so over the last few months I've been constantly switching from WW to Slimming World in the hope of getting the big losses but haven't stuck to either plan for very long as I'm so easily demotivated and it all seems a bit too much at the moment!

I've now given myself a stern talking to and gone back to good old WW green. I'm determined to get this weight off and look forward to hearing about all of your journeys :)

Sorry for the waffle....

I am (near enough) the same.
Loosing weight to get pregnant. I currently don't qualify for ivf either.
Been told to loose weight and keep trying.

Its my first time trying ww and have so far lost 9lb in 3 weeks and have started exercising in the mornings; i am on summer holidays as i work in a school.

Be strong 💪🏻 the thing that gets me going is by telling myself I want a baby more than I want chocolate etc

Thank you @smarty14 I really am going to try my best this time as we have no chance of conceiving naturally so it really is our only chance!

I work in a school too, so go back in about 1.5 weeks :(

Good luck with your weight loss :)
