Basically can anyone give me a brief explanation of what the plan is and how it works?

It's a points based system. You are given x number of points per day (points are related to calories so number of points depends on your weight). You then have weekly points for treats or if you have gone over the dailies and you can also log exercise and gain fit points which you can transfer over to food points if you want.

There are some zero point foods such as most fruit and veg, lean chicken, most fish, eggs and fat free natural yoghurt.

Basically plan ahead as much as you. An, keep zero point food with you for snacks, you are advised to use your weekly points or your weight loss can stall as your points start to drop as you lose weight.

The app is great, I track everything I eat and drink, you can scan barcodes of stuff too and there's loads of recipes and even a private social media type app where you can share your goals and things with other people on ww.
