Hi folks,
I know it’s a daft time to join but I’m hoping to use it as motivation not to totally over indulge over the next couple of weeks.
Anyone want to join me?

Hi, it's the perfect time to sign up. Now is the best time for anything, for Later never quite seems to arrive Shock

I'll be sharing your pain over the festive season. I'm a long time member, so do shout up if there's anything I can help with.

Wishing you every success Smile

Thanks Stevie. I need to get myself organised with decent food in the house. That’s always my downfall! Must prepare better!

Hi Lulu, I'll join you! I agree that it's a great time to join. I had got down to my lowest weight, about 10 lbs off my target, then lost the plot in November. Rejoining in a new group, had my first weigh in 2 days ago and I'm several lbs up. Sob!! No meetings for 2 weeks...so I'm focusing on that first week in January and am determined to be back on track and ideally a few lbs lighter by then.

I was cursing myself for gaining but I'm glad I didn't wait until after the holidays to make this new start! Christmas doesn't have to be a disaster. I love a turkey dinner with plenty of veg and that's all zero points. So I'm going to budget carefully for way too much prosecco the extras like Christmas cake and chocolate plus take advantage of time off work to get a lot of walking in. Let's stay on track!

Hi Fabulous!
Great to hear I have some company! Well done for your earlier success. I’m sure you’ll be back to your lower weight in no time.
In all honesty, I haven’t really got my backside into gear to do it properly. However, the plan is at the back of my mind so I’m trying to make a few healthier choices. Will definitely go for it come January but for the time being, it’s a bit of a half hearted effort. Better than no effort at all I guess!

Exactly-- I'm not planning to count points but damage limitation is a great thing this time of year! I had a few chocolate coins earlier but stopped myself from scoffing the lot (which I wouldn't have enjoyed) so I'm considering that a win!

I have just joined too. Out tonight at a party, but am driving so that will help on the calorie front!

Great to hear Five. We can do this!
I’m starting on 2 Jan and going for no chocolate Jan instead of dry Jan.
Enjoy the party tonight. I’m designated driver too. Happy New Year!
