Food I can take abroad

I will be travelling abroad next week for work and need help with what I will eat! I can have breakfast in the hotel - eggs/fruit etc so that’s no problem, and manage the evening meal choices but at lunchtime we will be given high fat (fried) food. I can avoid this by just not going to lunch so can anyone suggest anything I can take in my case that I could snack on during the day that won’t be too high in points ? I’ve only just started and am really enjoying it so far and don’t want to ruin it all in week 2! TIA.

Can you get a cup of hot water for packet soup/mugshot types?? Me and son recently in London. (bit different to you I know) out all day. While he was stuffing sandwiches etc I was sipping soup. 😊
