Holiday strategies...

I'm just over a week into WW and I'm going away to Scotland with my family for a week at the end of this month.
Thankfully it's self catered, staying in a lodge, and I'm in control of the meal planning! So I'm coming up with things that are family friendly and easy to prepare - spaghetti bolognese, casseroles etc., and I'm planning to get loads of fit points in. But I'll be tempted with wine and snacks.
Any strategies you can suggest to get through it with a loss? Would I be better doing a week of No Count?

I like the spiralised Butternut squash that Tescos do- the rest of the family can have the spag Bol and you have butternut squash Bol. Little tweaks to your own meals can meal you keep your points down and allow for a glass of wine instead

Could you do salads and grilled meat and fish instead of pasta and casseroles? Bbq chicken?

Stretch your wine with soda & ice.
Rinfo's are 2sp per packet one pack per night.
Make dips with yogurt mint & garlic a salsace & a reduced fat Marie rose sauce (mayof & ketchup ) have with carrots peppers etc.
Tuna 'pate' with tinned tuna ex lfc mayo on toast thins cut into bits with 1/2 cherry tomato.
Keep them in the fridge...make everyone else join in to make it.
I'd say point as your dailies plus weeklies can stretch if you've had sensible dinner.

Personally I find when I go away in the caravan, no count is easier. If I am having a treat, as in a meal out, I may point that day. I started by switching to mostly no count foods before I went away, but still pointing them, so I had an idea of points (and portions) before I went away. There is a great FB page for No Count, with lots of ideas and recipes. (Weight Watchers - No Count Friends)

Then you can try and mostly save your weekly points and fitpoints for wine and snacks. Although I have to say, eating no count, I usually feel more full and tend to snack less in between meals.

If your snacks and treats are going to be quite high in points, then maybe better trying to point and to keep them a bit lower where you can.

For me, I do usually point, but not having to weigh and measure absolutely everything on holiday makes it easier for me manage.

Chicken skewers would be very nice and low. I am living on them at the moment. You could have couple of new potatoes with them or courgetti

I would use champagne type flutes as that would help with quantity of wine

Use a tub of zero yoghurt seasoned with chives, garlic granules for dipping carrot, pepper batons, baby corn, celery. Use a circle of cucumber or chunky slice of tomato in place of a cracker, top with lean meat/ smoked salmon.
melon and Parma ham
fruit skewers.
Tomato salsa for adding to grilled meats or dipping.
