I joined WW last September and lost 21lbs by Christmas. Christmas came and the diet went, and never returned. I've arsed about since the new year losing and gaining the same 5 lbs. I haven't been to weight-in for 6 weeks now so it probably all back on 😕
I've just decided to go back again on Saturday, I will try and stick to points this week as best I can so the scales don't look 'so' bad, but it's my Dads 60th on Tuesday and we have a family meal out in a local Italian so I don't hold out much hope.
Anyway my question is have any of you got and words of wisdom or advise to stop me from self sabotaging, I always to it to myself loose so much start feeling a little better about my self, people finally start noticing all my hard work and then that's it, I loose motivation and un do it all 😤 I would love to get to goal which is about 3 stone..

I have been where you are. I messed about for so many years and have been paying WW for nearly all that time!

I have finally accepted that to do this it needs to be a change for life, so what I do still needs to flexible enough to allow for eating out, treats, alcohol, etc. I just have these things in moderation now. Previously I think I stopped some of these things and then felt deprived. Also I am finding increasing my activity has been a big lifestyle change. I am mostly walking but building it into everyday life, so it becomes habit, rather than an effort that will tail off at some point. Track, weigh and measure everything, even if you go off plan. I have ended up with negative points, but managed to pull the week back with increased fitpoints to cover. And whatever you think has happened, still go for weigh ins. It is so easy to think I will miss this week and have a better week next week, but in my experience, it very rarely happens and I have ended up going off plan for weeks or months. Personally I also stay to the meetings each week as I usually come away with some tips or ideas to help me going forward. I am a year into this now, and it isn't always easy. I am over 8st lighter with still more to lose. I have focussed on small mini goals rather the the end goal. One step at a time, one week at a time, one day at a time. Good luck!

westie I could have written your OP! I lost 24lbs then stopped going meetings etc. Have regained about 10lbs. Just accepting that I am going to have to suck it up and accept the discipline/commitment it takes and go and get weighed to make me stick to it.

Rejoining tomorrow for the 40% off 3 months.

Ps. How are you doing? It's been 3 weeks since your OP....
