WW no count tweaks

Sorry if this is a totally daft question!! Has anyone made there own tweaks to the no count food list and if yes does it affect your weight loss? My husband hates brown rice and pasta. I'm not that keen on it either and wondered if it would make that much of difference if I stuck with white? It wouldn't be everyday.

I haven't personally. I would suggest if you want white, then just use some of your weeklies for it? It is up to you if you want to try though. You may find it doesn't make much difference to the results on the scales, so you may be ok to do that occasionally.

I would suggest if you only eat the required portion for yourself....not being stuffed etc it would be the same.the calories between white & brown isn't much difference. The brown element is supposed to keep you fuller for longer.
Eating the same amount calorie wise your body isn't going to say....lucky is on no count plan that's white so it's not going to lose weight as she's tweaking the plan.

Yes eat the white. On SW people eat white pasta and rice and still lose weight - it is really the portion sizes that matter on no count so whilst you don't weigh or measure, you still have to not go overboard.
I do WW and have been at goal 7 years and on the old no count many years ago - Core - you could eat ryvita but not crumpets - on no count it is the other way round but if I am having a no count day I will eat ryvitas without pointing - 3 ryvitas is around 120 calories and 3 crumpets around 300 so whilst no WW leader/coach would agree, I'd say yes, within reason, tweak.

I'm floundering in slimming world at the minute so considering WW for the flexibility of the weeklies as I don't want endless muller lights and mug shots but need a quick breakfast like fruit and breakfast bar some days and the calories look the same. I guess you can't mix and match ideas but maybe white pasta would work
Would those successful WW people recommend it?

Polkadot - not tried SW for many, many years, but I would definitely recommend WW. I am mostly pointing but mix in some no count days now and then. I love that I can switch between no count and pointing days whenever I like. There is a great FB no count group page - WW No Count Friends. Seen loads of people join WW from SW on there and they all seem happy to have made the switch.
