I'm thinking of joining but I'm not sure it's for me.
I was on SW but i really could not get on with that plan.
I currently calorie count but the numbers drive me mad and i end up so hungry.

I want to sign up while it's 50% off but i don't want to waste my money.
Can i ask why you joined?
And to those on the plan for a while, what keeps you going?
Thanks Xx

(Previously posted this in April beginners, think it was the wrong place as it had no replies. WW offer ends tonight....Need to decide what to do)

Do it! If you are happy counting but fed up with all the calories you have to count, ww may be for you. it's still counting but a few points here and there rather than massive numbers like calories. The app makes it easy to track and you can save meals etc which saves time.

Admittedly it can get boring at times, but frankly all diets do. If you plan and use your points wisely its manageable.

Unlike calorie counting, certain foods are 'free' eg fruit and veg so you can eat those if you are hungry without using points

Sorry I've only just seen this, what did you decide? I joined WW because I wanted to get back in control of my eating including portion sizes and snacking. The great thing with it is that no food is off limits, you
just need to moderate your portions which means that you can sustain the plan and it's a more 'normal' plan of eating.
There is a no count option too so you can work from a set list of foods x

I joined because I had started the New Year bootcamp, lost 7lbs and stuck. I've done WW four times before and had some success. I really didn't like the new point system to begin with but I'm getting used to it and I love the scanner on the app. I'm online only. I have lost another 9lbs on WW since 18th of March and I'm not finding it difficult. I'm glad I gave it a go.

Oh bollocks. The 50% off offer must have expired and I was gonna re-join. Does anyone think they will do it again before summer??? Sad
