Hi all, I joined this week - well, should I say, went back after a three month absence; I had only been going for a month or so before I inexplicably stopped going.

So I am back, it has all changed etc. Less points, but bigger portions of protein - shame I have such a sweet tooth, which I will have to salve with fruit.

Today I made a king prawn red Thai curry using the WW pack sold in class - utterly scrummy.

What tips can you all share with me?

I did WW about 30 years ago. I got my snowflake for getting to my target weight and I am still at it at the age of 51. Stick with it, it does work. Methods and points and stuff change but the basic ideology is right for life long sensible eating habits. I'm not paid by them, honest Grin.

30 years - wow, I am very impressed.

Not as much as I am Grin. My elder cousin did it as well. She has never piled the pounds back on.

So Cormoran have you now got enough inspiration to keep you going to WW?

CormoranStrike · 24/01/2016 22:23

I hope so - 48 hours and going strong so far :)

Good for you and keep going. Very well done. I am interested about the prawn curry recipe.

Hiya, my tips for doing smart points are: fill up on fruit and veg, porridge for breakfast and get in some tiny bars (15g) of green and blacks for those times when you need chocolate. Good luck and hope to see you on the other thread

The kit was one from WW with coconut milk, paste and herbs; I added baby corn, mushrooms, onions and garlic, with a small portion of egg noodles, and my king prawns. By my reckoning it was 14sp.
