Lost the plot-can anyone help?

So I have been doing ww for about 18months and have lost 50lbs. However, I am now heavier than I was just before Christmas last year. In fact since Christmas last year I seem to have totally lost the plot! I just cannot seem to stick to my points and find myself constantly giving up half way through a week. I'm not feeling in control and have been going back to my old habits of binging on biscuits and adding cheese to everything. I'm really disappointed with myself, but can't seem to snap out of it. Anyone got any tips on how to get back into it properly? I have about 2 stone left to go, 1.5 to be a healthy bmi.

I so understand that loss of motivation. Somehow, it all seems so easy when I am in the zone, but then as soon as I am out of the zone, it feels impossible to get back into it.

Firstly, huge congratulations on your weight loss! That is fantastic. Don't focus on the slip, focus on what you have achieved. To slip is human, and the more crap you feel about it, the worse it gets.

My only suggestion is that you need something to kick start you again - something like a little spa trip (somewhere which will serve you healthy food), and a short term, achievable goal. So, Christmas isn't too far away. Give yourself a modest goal for then, and in your first NEW week aiming towards your new Christmas goal, throw out everything that tempts you and don't allow anyone in your house to eat it. Get puritanical about it, and see how you go. If you plan not to use those extra points, then if you do have a moment of something that goes into those, you won't need to give up because you will still be in your weekly allowance.

You should be seriously proud of yourself. Focus on what you can do, and what you have done, and what you want to achieve by Christmas. Flowers
