1st week down, need your top tips for keeping up the momentum (best low point recipes / lunches)

I've just had my 1st week weigh in and have lost 3.5lb.

I tried to stick to the Simple Start, managed about 3 days and switched to points. I was obviously quite motivated given that it was my first week, and wasn't particularly bothered that my 26 points didn't seem to go very far... not sure I will feel the same this week.

I need your best low point tips please and ideas for lunch at work. We do have a microwave so I was happy with my homemade no-point butternut squash soup last week but not thrilled about having another week of that. Any suggestions?

Any other top tips? Many thanks

my tips are:
low calorie cooking spray
fruit and a pot of 0% fat greek yoghurt for breakfast.
chicken. 5 points for 200g!
cook without oil wherever possible
bananas.
do a bit of exercise, 30 mins walking is 2 points!
Cook potatoes from raw, less points that way than oven chips etc.
Even if you are pointing choose the green where possible so v lean cuts of meat/ pulses/ fish.

I dunno I'm used to it I guess but I often have enough points left for a free glass of wine in my 26 Grin .

Thank you. I've had enough points left tonight for 2 pieces of chocolate so not all bad Smile. Not sure I'm pointing the exercise correctly though as I did a 40 min run last week (jogging) and it said just 3 points?!

Running doesn't seem to generate many points but has helped my weight loss so have stuck to it.

Thanks Hallet - I think thats right, I went out again running last night so the fact a) I was exercising and b) not sitting in front of the TV snacking can only be a good thing, regardless of how many points I earned Wink
