Oh yes me for sure. Meeting on Thursday but hoping to get back on some kind of wagon tomorrow if I can. Think more people seem to be moving towards SW though this year.

Definitely. I finally reached goal just before Christmas and bought a size 8 jacket. Unfortunately I have put on a few pounds over Christmas which I intend to lose. If I then lose another few pounds I will be at the lower end of a healthy BMI range and that gives me a little leeway for holidays and special occasions.

I'm re starting on 7th. Technically I haven't stopped, but have been 'on a break' for at least December.

Will get back to square one, only they've gone and changed things......something called 'simple start'.........got a feeling I'm gonna stick with points, you know where you are with points hungry most of the time Grin

Climbingthewalls12 · 31/12/2013 18:11

I thought simple start had been there for a while, just a little helping hand to get you going. My mum's a leader and I'm sure they've been in the little blue books for a while now.

No they've had Filling and Healthy for a while, but Simple Start is a new plan for 2014

Ooooooh maybe i'm thinking of Easy Start (i.e. the example meal plans that they used to have) what's Simple Start?

Report
Furball · 31/12/2013 19:35

Not sure, I haven't been to a meeting yet. I think it's a glorified version of filling and healthy with a few bells and whistles thrown in for good measure!

How's everyone doing? I plan to go to first meeting on Tuesday when kids go back to school. My DH just announced he's invited his family for "small get together" I'm annoyed it will probably be around 25 people who I don't really get on with so will nervously overeatHmm

I've just signed up again to WW online. Going to weigh in on Monday and aiming to lose 2 stone. It worked before (pre DD2) so hopefully it will work again.

I've been doing WW since the start of November. I'd lost 13lb up to my last weigh in the week before Christmas. I've been a bit wayward over Christmas, but had set myself the goal that I would only put 1lb on over the 3 week break (my classes were cancelled due to the bank holidays). This means this coming week is all about damage limitation for Wednesdays weigh in!

Furball · 03/01/2014 07:32

Gosh went to WI last night and have put on 5lb over most of December........[eek]

I'm ignoring simple start and just going to track, track, and track some more with pro points

Head down and CONCENTRATE!........

I'm starting again on Monday. I've had 2 months off. Bit scared of weighing myself. I've really over eaten this Christmas (never have before).

Hi all. I started back again on 1st.( online) Have had a 11 weeks break so was dreading getting on the scale but it wasn't too bad. Put on 6lb. So am now counting points. Good luck all :-)

I've just started again too - after about a 3 month break where I ate rubbish due to stress. Put on about a stone. :(

I weighed myself on the 2nd Jan so today is day 2 back on the plan. My weigh ins will be on Wednesdays. It'll be so encouraging if I've lost a bit of weight for next week. Fingers crossed.

Good luck to everyone.

My Christmas week damage was 5 pounds on but I'm back in the game this week. Have a holiday booked to South Africa at the end of March and I plan to be at least a stone and a half lighter by then.

I am, however, cheating massively by breastfeeding Grin. Which means I can eat an astounding 40 points a day! It would be madness not to lose all my baby weight while I can eat this much food because I can already see how dropping to 26 points will be a killer...

goinggrey - you have to budget well! - it makes you think about how you spread your food

What sort of things have you been having?

to be fair the 26 doesn't go far, buy a WW mag and get a weeks worth of menus as well as other recipes and ideas to play about with.

I usually have 5 for breakfast, 8 for lunch - for example warburtons thins are 3 each. and 13 for evening. watch your carb intake, potatoes/rice/pasta etc are weighty, so weigh everything so you know what a portion should be etc. swap swede or mashed cauliflower which are free for potatoes

Snack on free fruit or veg

and read this fab blog to get loads of meal

Thanks furball just had a quick glance at that blog i think y biggest downfall is not being organised enough so i will grab half hour later and meal plan i think i will be better of doing a food shop online to avoid temptation!! I eat far too much bread also so i neec to try wraps and pittas. I really need to do this as i got weighed in boots and im 34% body fat

I've so fallen off the wagon and it started before Xmas. I have actually gained 15 pounds since October and ovearr Xmas and New Ye. Blush

I'm back on carb restriction and Jillian Michaels workouts and started to lose. Then my stupid period came and I spent a day eating like a goodun and was back to square one.

I'm also finding I'm really bloated after intense workouts, my gut looks enormous. wft??
