Craving something chocolatey on SW

Hi all,

I started Slimming World a week and a half ago. I didn't get into it properly for a few days, but still lost a pound. This week, i'm sticking to it 100% but I'm really wanting something like a bar of chocolate & I don't know what I can have, the syns seem so high for everything like that. And now I just keep thinking about Cadburys Dairy Milk.

Are there any 'low fat' or low calorie-type choccy bars that aren't to heavy on the syns? What about Boots shapers?

I used to have 3 squares (4 1/2 syns) of dairy milk a night. First up, bite the square in half then suck it really really really slowly and get the utmost out of it. enjoy it and take your time.

It makes you appreciate it

DO NOT gobble it all up in one go and don't even taste it. Thats a waste of chocolate and sysns

What about the chocolate and orange hi-fi bars? They are about 6 syns but could also be a healthy extra!

pipsy76 · 04/07/2010 18:13

milky way stars, freeze them first so they last longer, 3.5 syns, are a good treat!

pipsy76 · 04/07/2010 18:16

oops, I forgot to add this is the fun size multipack small bag

littlemefi · 04/07/2010 22:31

treat size bags of maltesers are 5 syns or chocolate buttons are 4 and a half I think.

StableButDeluded · 04/07/2010 23:25

Ooh, thank you for the suggestions-I remember someone else telling me months ago that she froze chocolate to make it last longer, will def try that!

I do like milky way stars & maltesers, am off gto Tesco tomorrow so I'll look for some treat size bags. Haven't tried the Hi-fi bars, are they nice?

I like them a lot, especially the lemon one and the choc and orange, but I never get to eat them as a HE because I've used them up with dull stuff like bread or cereal, so 6 syns is quite a lot, but worth it as they are quite filling.

I'd forgotten the treat packs of maltesers, my favourites!

pipsy76 · 05/07/2010 19:41

you can have 2 of the alpen light choc and fudge bars as your hex B, so I will never be able to have bread again!

Dazmum · 06/07/2010 17:41

Oooh they sound nice and two of them! No more bread for me either then!

Dazmum · 06/07/2010 20:14

And have just been to Tesco and bought some!

pipsy76 · 07/07/2010 07:14

Hope you enjoy them Dazmum!

girlsyearapart · 07/07/2010 07:22

don't know about sw but on ww curly wurlies were low in points- even longer lasting if you freeze.

Also low fat choc mousse.

Dazmum · 07/07/2010 13:26

Lovely, thanks Pipsy76! I'm only having one at the moment as it's weigh in night, and one more will make a lot of difference I am sure. I haven't had a very good week!

pipsy76 · 08/07/2010 13:20

Wow, I have just been weighed and lost 3.5 pounds, so Ill keep on eating these alpen bars!
