That's how I see myself, not apple nor pear just a barrel.

I am just having a brain dump {moan} before I haul myself out of bed and think about going for a long walk.

Hi Mostly,

Did you manage to go for your walk?

I also hold my excess weight around my middle and have reduced some of it with plenty of exercise. Are you doing anything diet wise?

MostlyLurking · 20/06/2010 09:08

Hi

Yes I managed a walk yesterday and plan another today. Diet wise, just cutting back really, no snacks etc. This is the start I hope but I just feel rubbish about my shape.

Good luck with it, just keep going.

I've lost about 22lb, it's resulted in a 4 inch loss around my waist, I just do as much exercise as possible.

As far as diet is concerned, try as many filling foods as possible? Brown pasta, rice, salads, beans, etc.

IKWYM about having a moan. Sure you're not barrel shaped but just apple shaped like me!

I'm only a little overweight and I have that barrel shaped feeling too. I am seriously considering buying some maternity skits because I can't get normal ones done up around my fat waistline

I have a maternity top with label cut out . six mile walk this afternoon ,

I got up at 6 this morning , donned my favourite floaty top and leggings ( and DM boots) and took my dogs for a lovely 4 mile brisk walk in the woods. As I was leaving the woods with a nice healthy glow ( dripping a bit) , feeling all healthy and virtuous, I met an elderly man who informed me I should really be taking it easy in my condition. I am such an egg on legs. I decided not to be insulted that he thought i was pg, but to be flattered that he thought I was young enough for this to actually be the case . But he probably forgot his glasses and could see my shape but not my wrinkles. Hey ho, onwards and upwards

@ pogleswife. Feel like giving up before I have even started .
