The gastric band "pill" for weight loss

I'm doing weight watchers and it is working but I find myself cheating a lot because I'm just so hungry and I cheat a lot.

I've lost 6 pounds in six weeks which I'm pleased with but I was thinking of trying some sort of pill to curb my cravings and just make me feel a bit fuller.

I came across this

It sounds too good to be true and I'm always a bit wary of ordering things like this online. I would just like to lose a bit more as I've got a trip away coming up. I don't want to use it as an alternative to losing weight properly.

Anyone have any experience with this?

IMO and experiecne they are just a waste of money. The weight loss the 'quotes' are talking about is perfectly achievable on a strict diet (not saying to do one but they are most likely bullshitting)
Things that can make you feel fuller are important, stuff I try is
large (and I mean large) fruit salad with banana, apple, satsuma, grapes, mango/melon and a dollop of lf yoghurt on top
popcorn
strong dilution squash, it tastes more of 'things' so fills me up more.

I do sympathise, I have 4 stone to lose on top of the 20lb I have lost already and it is tough. My poor children are so deprived as I don't have biscuits or sweets i the house anymore, we buy them when we are out for them to eat there and then.
Recently I have been buying biscuits I think are boaksome so that they have nice snacks, that helps as well (not having nice things that is)
Also, don't go out with cash if you don't need to, or more than you need, so you aren't tempted to buy some choc etc

Thanks Jack. I think you are probably right and I don't want to end up on some dodgy mailing list as well!

Back to my "filling" foods! Thanks for your tips. I wll try some of those.

I don't know much about ww so not sure how helpful they are though

I find if i plan ahead to my 'danger' times i cancope better, so i know i will want a snack about 9pm and i have fruit ready, or i cook extra tea and have more protein to fill me up.

If you must have carbs then plain popcorn (in the micro is v fast) is relatively virtuous.

How much are you looking to lose
It's tough when its a lot, but it comes off faster, which helps!

Yes, I think that's my problem. I've only got a stone to lose so I fit in all my clothes etc. I just want to look slimmer and lose the muffin top lol.

Also, I have been exercising a lot and I think I'm building up muscle because I feel more toned but that doesn't help when you are being weighed as it weighs more than fat!

Ah, this iswhy i don't do ww or sw, i measure myself as well so i can see if i am slimming. Water retention is a big problem as well, i have a thread called 'scales stuck' or something (can't do links on phone!) which makes very reassuring reading if you aren't losing a lot, which tends to turn me back to comfort eating!

My top tip? Sugar free jelly!!! It's fat free with miniscule calories, tastes great and makes you feel lke a 5 year old again. Make tons in loads of flavours stops you feeling deprived.

you need to do some research - google low carbing. you can eat as much protein as you like - you could eat 18 whole chikens a day - and still lose weight.

any quick fix like this is bullshit - you know it is - there is no quick fix - join a thread - low carb - dont feel hungry = put some boundries to your eating, feel good about yourself - i do i lost 4 st
