heres my story... have 3 dcs youngest is 2 and my original weight before dcs was 10 stone... i am now 13 stone so basically have gained a stone for every child i have !!!!
i am sick to the back teeth of starting and failing diets its went on long enough now...
so today i have stocked up on healthy foods and aim to start the slimming worl diet on monday....
i cant afford to go to the groups so i am going to do it myself, i bought all of the books from ebay and i work with someone who goes to the groups so she gets recipes etc....
im am 5'2 and weigh 13st and i am a size 16
im looking for people who want to start dieting with me....
anyone welcome
I REFUSE TO FAIL THIS TIME...........

Hiya, you sound EXACTLY like me,

3 kids amd went to 13 7 (am about 12.8 now)

I have been stopping and starting and its getting me down

stopping and starting makes you end up fatter than you started out! so good luck with sticking to it!

i lost the wieght on weigh watchers, but had to stop as it was too much money.

My mum does slimming world and she is always making curries and chillis from their rcipies

maybe i should try that.

I need to do something too. After seeing a thread on here I have ordered the Durkan Diet book off Amazon. I understand it to be a low carb diet, which suits me as that is my problem area. Good luck!

Hiya em83 - i will join you, abit late i know!
I started on monday this week...

I have always been a slim size 10, i had my DD at twenty and lost all my baby weight.

However, i am now twenty two and find i can no longer eat what i want without gaining weight.

My downfall has been meeting my wonderful new DP - nights in munching away, cooking for him and eating the same size portion, too many little treats and take aways and booze has seen me balloon to 12.58 and a size 14-16 at 5.7 foot!

I also have got a load of strech marks off gaining weight so quickly!

I feel awful, bloated, sluggish and unattractive!

Enough is enough and i am determined to get down to a size 8-10 again!

I have been having special k for breakfast, various salads for dinner and low fat soups for tea....

Also using the food focus website which is brill - i enter what ive ate after ive ate it and find it is distracted me long enough to forget about chocolate after meal!

All going well, i am weighing 12.1 today

Hi there I would love to join you all. em83 I have been trying to lose baby weight now for 3 years! I have had some success only to gain again when I stop. I am ttc no 2 and want to stop over eating and lose weight before getting pregnant again.

I am weighing in at the moment at 10 stone 3 and would love to get down to 9 stone. I am approx 5ft 4 size 14 and would like to get down to size 12. itsy i too feel bloated, sluggish and unattractive and I want to do something about it.

Glad to see im not the only one who feels like this!

Im onto week two this week and feel better already! Not so bloated, trousers abit more comfy and finding it easier walking!

The warmer weather helps me stick to special k for breakfast, a nice salad for dinner, carrot sticks and apples for snacks at work and then fresh soup for tea.

Im was 11.12 when i weighed myself this morning! Just shows how bloated and water retentited i was!

Really determined to stick to it this time!

Hi there itsy glad you've had a good day food wise. That's a good weight loss now you are at 11.12 you must be feeling pleased. Do you know what goal weight you are heading for? I have had a good day today food wise.

I had weetabix for breakfast, baked beans and salad for lunch and baked beans and jacket pot this eve & a muller yogurt snack and a couple of satsumas and some plums. You'll notice a baked bean and weetabix theme! but I am trying to find foods that I know fill me up. I've also made a load of tomato soup to snack on if I need. I'm kinda roughly working by weight watchers online and have 18 points to use per day. I've managed to stick to it today
