What are your favourite Weight Watchers recipies?

I've been doing WW for 2 weeks now. I'm doing really well, have lost 1kg/2.2lbs both weeks so far!! I'd love to keep that up for another 8 weeks as we're off on holiday with the in laws (including super skinny SIL) and 8 more kgs would put me just inside my 'healthy weight range' which would be amazing.

But I know it's going to get harder from here on in - I risk getting bored or complacent - so I really need to keep interested in it all.

I love to cook so I was thinking that if I could find some really tasty WW recipies to become family staples, then that might help stop me falling back on old, fattening favourites...I've bought a WW recipie book and bought last weeks WW magazine and have chosen a few meals to try and wondered if Mumsnet could suggest a few more?

I can't eat chillis and have to be able to share meals with a 3 year old but other than that I'm willing to try anything

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

snacks -

make lots of zero points soup:

stock
veg
herbs

cook until soft
blend

i like to add curry powder to courgette soup yum.

make sugar free jelly for zero points too.

meals -

stir fry
spray oil
egg noodles

substitute butternut squash for potato for zero points.

grate carrot and courgette into mince to bump up volume.

can't think of any specific recipes though!

I really like the moussaka - we seem to have it at least once a week. There's also a really nice chicken in a creamy cider and mustard sauce.

AlCrowley · 05/06/2010 10:37

Never tried Moussaka. Will have to look that and the chicken up...
