exercise club called "Curves"

Hi

There's a new exercise club in town called Curves. You go and do a 30 min work out on machines three times a week. They say there are the biggest exercise franchise in the world. I've never heard of them.

They don't put their joining fees on their site. Has anyone been a member can they tell me if they found it good and how much it costs?

I found it brilliant, gutted there isn't one near me now. It was about £29 a month I think and I lost about a stone in my first two months there but I was going religiously. Mainly because it was so quick that I could always fit in a workout, no excuses!

Can't tell you the cost as I've never been, but friends have joined and have found it useful/effective. They especially like the fact that it is for women only.

It is a big company in America, and I think is still relatively new to the UK.

Is it like toning tables? I did those a few years back.......

I would prefer a slimming club to be called RIBS rather than CURVES

Some of my work colleagues go to our local one, and they like it.

My mum has been going a few times a week for over a year now and really enjoys it. I would join too if I had the time and the money!
