what are the best foods to keep you mentally focused during the day?

I have been LC so eating lots of protein, but am interested to hear what others eat to help with focus and motivation? Is there a food group that works for you?

Boiled egg with wholemeal toast keeps me going till lunchtime.

Elasticwoman - I find eggs work for me too, they really help fill me up.
Joby1970 - I still struggle to drink my water quota each day, I just find it so hard. I am sure if I drank more my weight loss would be better. Why is something so simple so difficult.
Does anyone else find drinking so much water hard?

simmo, I found it hard to drink so much water at the beginning, remembering to drink all the time around work, the washing, the kids etc and of course constantly running to the loo from drinking so much but I seem to have got more into a habit with it now and try to keep a glass of water on the run all the time and take a bottle out with me.

putting it in a bottle def helps - you can see how well/ badly you're doing

Yes that is the problem I never put it in a bottle, I think because when I don't finish I feel guilty !!
