Fast weight loss and face

Sorry about the bizarre title. I am going to start a VLCD (very low calorie diet) in the next couple of days. However, I was wondering if anyone has found that the fast weight loss makes their face look older? I am in my 40s but look younger (at the moment)....

I did one and lost 7.5 stones. Everyone says that I look much younger than I did. I think they are right. My fat face aged me although I think it helps with preventing wrinkles. I found that at the end of the diet my face was looking very thin (maybe a bit too thin even thought I was still very much at the upper end of my healthy weight range) but after a few weeks of eating normally, the weight seems to redistribute a bit and my face now looks fuller even thought my weight is the same. I think it really depends on thin you want to get. I think that if you want a bmi at the lower end of healthy, then you may find that showing up more on your face than if you stick to mid range or higher.
