Has anybody tried it? And if so were you successful? I find India Knight horribly snooty, but maybe thats just me (?)

moondog · 02/04/2010 20:11

I've got an idiot proof diet for you which doesn't involve lining other people's pockets.
Eat less.
Move yer arse more.

IK is insufferable.

justallovertheplace · 02/04/2010 20:12

Lost 5 stone. LOVE it

surrogateauntie · 02/04/2010 20:34

You will get some detractors, just remember that everything you eat is not processed or full of sugar. you are eating what your body requires, when it comes to fat do not be afraid unless it is wrapped in carbs.

Any probs, cat me, i know the diet inside out and am living proof that it works.

.........and i had the joy of swanking around in a bikini for 2 summers on the trot......its worth it

surrogateauntie · 02/04/2010 22:40

new on this - what does cat mean? And two summers of bikinis....wow! I am impressed!

Cat is the messaging thang.

This will be the third bikini summer, and i can't wait. I've stopped shopping for shoes cos i buy too many clothes instead

tootiredtothink · 02/04/2010 23:04

A diet I've not tried??

Never thought I'd see the day .

Can I ask what it's all about?

And is there any way of getting hold of it without buying the book [tight arse emoticon].

Alouiseg · 02/04/2010 23:06

Check out www.pig2twig.com

It's low carb and it is the absolute dogs reproductables for weight and fat loss

mablemurple · 02/04/2010 23:14

moondog is right - halve the portions you put on your plate and exercise three to five times a week - walking, cycling, swimming, whatever. Don't buy low fat shit or anything else specifically aimed at dieters, don't cut out certain foods. Just eat less of everything.

That'll be £15.99 please.

surrogateauntie · 03/04/2010 10:40

Thanks Mablemurple, but it cost me the grand total of a quid from the local charity bookshop. I work out with a trainer 3 times a week, plus 3 cardio sessions - and I don't eat a huge amount but am losing at a measly half pound a week.

Desperate measures called for that don't require me to give up on a social life!

Will post back with failure or success!

Why do you need desperate measures - half a pound a week is excellent! With 6 fitness sessions a week you will be toning up and will probably look a lot slimmer than your actual weight might suggest. It's your mindset that needs changing, not your diet!

surrogateauntie · 05/04/2010 07:44

been bollocked by the doctor about having a too high BMI and am desperate to start trying for a baby, and was told being so overweight was likely to cause problems conceiving.
