I have been too ill to eat this week.

Literally, sweet F.A. Not deliberately, but just because.

I went to weightwatchers all smuggedy smug.

I lost:

ONE, yes, that's one measly, arsing, lonely, solitary lb.

I don't care if you all whip me with birch twigs, I am having half dh's curry tonight. Will it make me happy. Yes.

cyb · 25/03/2010 20:01

yes su and I haven teaten a biscuit in nearly 3 weeks which is a big deal for me!Or a crisp or a snack a jack or any crap inbetween

But I want to eat like I always eat but more sensibly so I can keep it up LONG TERM (ie not stop at Easter)

SuSylvester · 25/03/2010 20:01

[Northern]

BariatricObama · 25/03/2010 20:04

mood i had flu didn't eat, briefly lost but it went straight back on. some starvation effect shite. get over it and get back in the zone

NomDePlume · 25/03/2010 20:08

This time, 10st 5lb.

Was that weight for about 4mo but before that was at my biggest at 10st 11lb which I crept up to and didn't actually realise the true horror (because it came on so slowly, half a stone makes such a difference but is invisible when it creeps on over months) until we went to London and I saw a photo of myself with DD in front of a big plane engine in the science museum looking fucking enormous. Head like a pin, gut like a walrus. Horror.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 25/03/2010 20:08

celeriac soup for brek, tuna salad for lunch (with daring tomato), and roast chicken and big bag of spinach for dinner. followed by coffee. am stuffed. it was tutter who advised the coffee to beat any sweet cravings, and it does work. i think i'm getting cravings because am not hardcore low carber. last week i had none, but i will die without veg.

awesome choices, non?

McBitchy · 25/03/2010 20:09

hello - i thought i might join as i currently find myself obsessed with weight. I am just about at my ideal weight but really struggle to maintain it

My main diet tips are - cake diet! I swear by it - if you eat a piece of cake or even two in the day - it fills you up so much more than normal food and can almost make you feel a bit sickly which is a great appetite suppressant - I always do it post natally

I struggled to lose even a few pounds last year literally could NOT shift even one pound until I got some stomach bug which did not make me ill - just totally suppressed any desire to eat for a fortnight ( i did eat just less!) and lost 12 lbs.

It slowly creeps back on and I am struggling to maintain my weight. I love white bread and butter!

Undertone that pie chart is great!

SuSylvester · 25/03/2010 20:09

yum singey

"Head like a pin, gut like a walrus. Horror"

lol
yes my head is mor in proportion now
what is your happy weight ndp
were your clothes v tight then

HumphreyCobbler · 25/03/2010 20:11

I have had the horrific photo moment too.
It is a good incentive.

All your food sounds nice than mine. I would love to low carb but think that it doesn't really go with breastfeeding, is that right?

moodlum · 25/03/2010 20:13

I am sort of in the zone. I'm only having a small portion of his solo portion of CTMasala. There'll be no eggy fried rice for me.

I think I need to give in to going to the drs get some drugs and get well and get back to the wakey shakey zoney.

I have lost 6.5lbs in three weeks, but that naughty silver seven sticker from WW is obviously going to elude me.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 25/03/2010 20:14

i don't know, sorry. i'm not really low carbing so much as doing what i have learned from reading about two magazine articles on the subject... so am prolly doing it wrong. i have yet to eat bacon and eggs in the morning, for example, which i believe is de rigeur.

have had egg in a cup with butter, though. really filling and yum.

moodlum · 25/03/2010 20:14

the cake diet? Are you sure? Does it work even if, like me, moderation is not in your skill set?
