Okay, so I've been trying to lose weight for ages. I'm in the healthy range, but I'm heavier than I used to be and would like to lose some weight.

So, for the last two and half months, I have been trying very hard. I've been using the foodfocus website (where you put in everything you eat and it tells you how many calories you are consuming, what proportion of your food is fat, protein or carbohydrate etc.). According to that, I'm consuming around 1200 calories a day. I've stopped snacking, during the day I just have coffee and water to drink, I have had about 2 pieces of chocolate the whole time, no cake, no cookies etc. etc.
I've been consuming lots of soups, salads ... basically eating really healthily and in reatively small amounts. i also do at least 30 minutes of cardio exercise three times a week (jogging, cycling, step machine) as well as walking ... you get the picture.

And in this whole time? I have no lost any weight. in fact, I've gained a kilo. I would say I'm getting more toned, but that's about it (and that's being optimistic).

What am I doing wrong?
