and if so can you tell me more about it please.
Is it calorie counting?

I have been following food doctor since last september and have lost around 1 stone 10 pounds since then. I feel like it just isn't working as well anymore and i am finding it difficult to follow. I thought that maybe if i join a club it might be the inspiration i need to spur me on to the next level IYKWIM.
I need to lose around another 2.5 stone.
To add to the difficulty i am a vegetarian who is wheat intolerant! so already limited in what i can eat. I also exercise a lot.

I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, i do;

15 mins running at 8KPH (gave up running outside for the winter)
20 minutes on the vario machine at level 8
180 sit ups with 25kg weights
40 arm curls with 8 kg of weight
120 lifts with arms in various positions with 8 kg weight.
40 sit up on the gym ball.

I also walk around 25 miles per week and am in t rainig for a 40km hike in may so add on another 15-20 miles for the short term per week.

Will the RC thing work for me? or will i be wasting my time and money?

Thanks for reading all of that i got a little carried away .

Hi more than I haven't actually joined rosemary connelly yet but I have looked into it. I am doing her 3 week diet just now to kick start my system then starting the class. I like the idea of a weigh in and exercise class but it seems you have the exercise bit truly licked

I did RC years ago, the thing I remember is that you could eat quite a lot. I think it was more about low fat than calories but as I say it was a long time ago, sorry.

I think cal counting was involved but I seem to remember it was a low GI diet. We were given little measuring pots for rice and pasta etc so it was easier to judge your portion size.

You get a book which gives you meal choices which are cal counted for you for simplicity.

What I always felt was good was that an exercise class was included so I felt that I got more for my money. It wasn't terribly high impact exercise but you can put as much into it as you want.

thanks for replies, i am going to my first class tommorrow eve so wish me luck!

Apparently if you follow rc meal plans no need to calorie count so hopefully it will work for me!
