Hi. If you have experience of either, please can you advise which is the best, and how much they cost? Thanks

slim fast is not the same thing, you wont go into ketosis and therefore dont get the impressively fast wieght loss.

I have a SIL who is a LL consultant, and I have done CD several times.

They are both pretty much the same diet except LL is a lot more expensive. For the extra money you get a group counselling session every week. With cambridge you meet with your counsellor one to one and have a chat (not formal "counselling")

IMO with the right counsellor, then Cambridge is the better option. LL counselling (from what I know) is a bit airy fairy for my liking but some people want to have that kind of thing.

With both diets you will lose 1 stone a month minimum (i lost 22 lbs in the first month and nearly 3 stone in 9 weeks) also with both diets, you will put the wieght back on if you go back to bad habits.

The second point is true of every single diet under the sun, not just these quick diets.

Thanks for that reply, it is really heplful. Would you mind me asking a very rough figure of how much CC costs? Would love to give myself a quick start but worried about affording it!

LL is £66 a week, CD around £35

if you stop suddenly and go back to eating normally you will put some wieght back on, both diets advise you to introduce food slowly and in the right order.

You also need to be at least 1 stone over bmi25 to do the sole source option (no conventional food).
