Sit ups and c section

quick question - when can you atart doing sit ups after a c section - its now been 4 months - can i start as my haging belly is getting me down!!!!!!!!

I don't know the answer to question, however, I do know that to flatten my belly, I don't do sit ups.

I use cross trainer in gym, it's really effective if you start to bump up the resistance.

Very small movements, very controlled are best anyway, rather than full sit ups imo.

From what I have been told at physio it's best to wait until your tummy muscles that separated for pregnancy come back together again, otherwise you can stop them doing so.
