Do you weigh yourself in the morning or at night?...

Just bought my first bathroom scales. I've always been too chicken to use them (and discover the scary truth) but i've decided it's the only way to set goals. I'm planning to weigh in once a day. Does it matter when i do it?

makes a huge huge difference.

morning only - you an be upto 2 or 3 lbs heaver at night

A third of the body's water loss occurs at night [says google] - and can amount to about 2 or 3lbs.
Also, you will clearly weigh more when you eat/drink something - you will be adding the weight of that food to your body.

Thanks Custardo, I guess that's why i was kind of worried that it was almost cheating to do it in the morning before shovelling in pounds of food.

hell no - thats the best time to do it.

who weighs themselves at their heaviest? thats just insane woman.

get up - go have pee and poop and then weigh yourself.

Thanks for the advice. -Will poop as instructed. (It's been many many years since someone instructed me to poo. I feel more in touch with what it is to be a toddler!)

Also, obviously, weigh yourself in the nude. Don't want any heavy pjs getting in the way

i weigh in clothes, as i do it alone at home, as if i was in a class then obv would be wearing clothes - well maybe

there may be a nudist ww class near me lol

Morning, post-poop too and in floaty nightie type thing not jeans and hobnail boots. However I wouldn't advise weighing yourself every day-that way madness lies!

For the first time, before the diet, weigh yourself in boots and jeans and last thing a night after dinner Weigh a week later fist thing in the morning and nude and your first week will be a fantastic difference :O)
