I've been on a no dairy, no wheat, no sugar diet as breastfeeding intolerent baby - works wonders!! There is nothing left to eat. I highly recommend it!! Eat lots of seeds, dried fruit. Not sure about shrinking calves but tanned legs look skinnier so fake tan before you go?

simmo39 · 16/02/2010 22:15

Am doing a low carb diet, have lost a stone in 4 weeks and I feel full. It's great cause you can snack on protein when hungry, just have to really watch your carb intake and make sure it is low so your body goes into Ketosis. Sorry but also can't suggest how to thin calves, would exercise on those areas just bulk them up? I agree with the fake tan suggestion, always makes me feel thinner!

Yes em83 you can definitely lose 1 1/2 stone in 12 weeks. I have been losing about a stone a month since October on Go Lower and it is still coming off so I am sure you can do it. I'm afraid I'm not sure about the calves either. Maybe exercise would help, but more cardio than weights.

Babe.. if you want everygthing to shrink - run... especially works wonders on your legs!
Just make sure you stay in your fat burning zone!!

I have been trying to get the inspiration to loose weight and the motivation to exercise but its not working... what is this GO LOWER diet that you speak of????

simmo39 · 17/02/2010 22:37

twinkle183 - check out their website -
www.golower.co.uk
So far I am really pleased with the success I have had on it so in my opinion I do recommend.....

mummymels · 17/02/2010 23:21

twinkle - I envy people who can run! I can walk for miles and miles but am not a runner at all.

I agree with simmo, I have found Go Lower to be really successful. I never thought I would be able to lose as much weight as I have done and still going strong.

Davina McCall recommends exercising three times a week for at least half an hour, though the intensity is important!

twinkle183 · 18/02/2010 14:17

I agree with deirdreB need to have a sweat on in order to call it exercise! Raised heart beat!!!

mummymels I never use to be a runner and sometimes I honestly lack the motivation to get on our treadmill but its the quickest way to loose weight and tone up! My hubby got me in to it and I must admit that I really enjoy it when I get going... have to get myself sorted as I have just signed up for great north run in September and thats 13 miles! The interval running thing is the best way to learn to run.. you walk for 2 mins then run for 2 mins and thats great!

I am just struggling with my eating.. even though I am running am still eating more than I am burning even with the running! HELP!!!!

mummymels · 19/02/2010 00:45

em it sounds as if you are doing really well. Sorry I don't have a wii so can't advise there.

twinkle - Good luck with your training for the Great North Run.

twinkle183 · 22/02/2010 15:56

Thanks mummymels lets hope I can go the distance!

mummymels · 22/02/2010 21:35

I am sure you will be able to as you sound really determined.
