C section and sit ups

Does anyone know when its ok to start doing sit ups after a c section - Im now at 13 weeks and feel like it will be fine but want to check - thanks!

I guess as long as you had no complications post c section and have healed, and generally have good core strength 13 weeks is fine. When you do your first sit up feel your stomach muscles downwards from your tummy button, occasionally there is a tear/seperation of the muscles here (can't remember the technical name for this..I knew it once). You could always check with your dr or local physio as I did loads of damage to my stomach muscles post birth by being too 'eager' to exercise.
