Anyone had success with Weight Watchers WITHOUT attending meetings?

Because I really grudge paying £6 a week for someone to weigh me.

I used to think that it was the fact that I had to stand and be judged by someone, but last time I went I put on weight - and that was 3 weeks in a row.

Now that the snow has started to melt, I feel like I can start my New Year Get Fit Plan, so do you think I can just use my books and points stuff to do it myself, or am I likely to fall off the wagon?

Any tips appreciated .

Have tried it both ways and have to say that although I also grudge the weekly fee I am more disciplined when I got to meetings. I guess its that feeling of having to account for myself (and my cheeky choc fix)to someone else.
However, having said all that I am doing the same thing as you - using all my stuff from before and going it alone- for purely financial reasons, just cant afford to attend sessions.
Good luck x
