Hi had a really cra**y week. Ds in A&E due to big allergic reaction to egg. So ended up on takeaways and not doing a lot. so have put on myb 3lb ive lost. really fed up. can we give ourselves exercises every week that we have to try and complete. Like 10 sit ups a day or something like that. Think it may help motive me. what do peeps think. ya prob wont read it til next week but if ya think its good we can all suggest something. good luck donna

Also being thick added in depressing gain to yahoo but it still says week 1-3 are we just adding into week 3 the whole time or am i being thick. any help greatfully recieved

an't work out the yahoo thing myself either, we'll have to wait for hi5 to come along and explain it to all we IT illiterates!

Well, I'm trying really hard and since weds I've lost the grand total of 0. Bl88dy hell and bu88er! Looks like you're right donna, exercise is the only way forward now.

Any tips for us chicagomum? You are our most successful slimmer!

Hello girls, I've seen 10st13 flash on my scales for the tiniest fraction of a second before the scales recalculated and recognised me! I've lost again this week, 11.06 - digital scales! most of it is off my boobs i'm sure - not much there to start with! ho hum. I had a great bike ride in the lakes with the family last weekend, the two pubs we stopped at sold delicous beer which replaced some of the lost calories from our 14mile bike ride.
I think donnachb's suggestion is a good one, an exercise challenge/task would be quite motivating.20 pelvic thrusts, knees bent, hands on hips if you read this! I just did it, makes my thighs ache but mobilises your back.

With regards to the yahoo site - , I must apologise and make the data base more up to date, the trouble is you can't add new fields when/where you want to- the best thing to do probably is make a new database for each Weds, I'll try to do that before I go on holiday to France next week - I won't be posting until the end of August. I'm staying in France for an extra 2 weeks on my own with the kids - not sure if that is a good idea or not - the weight may drop off, or solitude could kick in and I may have to eat penguins in the evening, what's french for penguin?

Ahhh this is were you all are. Ready for weigh in tomorrow though seem to be my own worst enemy, had fish and chips today with chocolate and crisps for tea yeasterday and the last night went to pics and had nachos and chocolate.

Swimming its got to be due to foot, have been told no impact exercises for another 6-8wks.

I want to be in shape by the time I start university!!!! and I know this is silly but I'm dreading going swimming as I'm embarassed

Hi everyone thanks for your kind words. well ds recovered from allergy but now has a virus he and us havent slept for longer than 2 hours a day for 4 days. Hes vomiting has a temp and a high pitch cry and is completly inconsolable until he crys for so long that he just gives up and sleeps for a hour generally in our arms. Accept now hes been a sleep for an hour in bed. any way feeling sorry for myself and waffling anyway hence to say not weighed myself. feel about 80 stone can fit 10 children on my hips. Any way will do my 20 hip thingys and will be good next week when ds is settled. cheers everyone hope your having a good week donna

See you all in 1 month - don't forget to fill in the appropriate data base, think of me stuffing brie, croissant and red wine down my chops, quickly wiping the flakes off my lips on Wednesdays and dreading the weight gain, still, I'm down to 11st 0lb - i've been good haven't I...???

I've treid everything in the past, WW, SW, GI, Atkins, Paul McKenna etc etc etc

I've now been told by my Dr that I need to loose two stone so I'm giving it a determined effort for Christmas. Back from holidays so I have a straight 21 weeks (aarrrggghhhh)

well im down to 11stone 4lb. lost 4lb in 2 weeks so really pleased. ds has had a virus now for 10 days so up every hour but he slept for 4 hours last night ye ha. I look like shxt but at least ive lost weight. hope veryone else is good. thanks for the support. Suggest tring to do 10 sit ups a day for the next week. good luck dxx

I've lost nothing again. BUT I have had an inspiration this week - the reason my weight loss has stopped (even though I'm eating the same) is becuase I've stopped Bfing! So I will have to eat less to have same effect.

depressing, but cheering at the same time. At least there is a reason for hitting the wall, so I should be able to do someting about it. Now all I need is will-power!!!

hi lilolibet your not a thread killer we are all a bit late sometimes. Well it was my birthday last week so stayed the same weight 11 4 so happy with that after all the cake ive eaten. will try and improve next did no sit ups either so can we have a better suggestion from someone. good luck everyone donna

Anyhow, I have had 9040 calories in the last week and have lost 1lb, so still well on track for 28lb in 23 weeks

I have read down the thread and seen this challenge thing, I won't set one but I shall pledge tht during the next week I will go for at least 4 half hour walks

been useless this week so not weighed myself. think ive prob put on a pound. i think alot of peeps r on hols at the mo. 4 half hour walks sounds good. think i can manage that. well done lillibet. keep going. will weigh next week. good luck

I lost 1lb, couldn't tell you how many calories as I forgot to count my last day but would say about 9500.

I managed one half hour walk , will try harder next week!
