I never usually suffer from cramp but have been doing WW for three weeks now and for the last couple I have been woken every night with really bad cramp in my feet that i have to get out of bed and walk about to cure. Anyone know why this should be and/or got any rememdies (or ideas for what might be missing in my diet) to help the problem?

I thought cramp was an indication of a lack of sodium in the diet? Am I right or wrong?

I had this problem when I attempted to lower my salt intake. I just ate more salt.

That's a tricky one cos all I can think of to raise my salt intake is crisps

Cheese?

It can be caused by lack of salt, or it can be caused by dehydration. Drink more water, and have a little bit more salt on your food - but you only need a small amount.

Thats a good point Annie - Am really bad about remembering to drink enough (no problem with wine Will try to get 2 litres of water down my neck each day and see if that makes a difference.
Thank you.
