Here we are, thanks Cyteen for the excellent title although it's slightly false advertising on my part

2lbs off which I'm chuffed to bits with as have had the MOST traumatic nightshifts ever and considering they were my first nightshifts for about 2yrs I think I've done alright

haven't managed the gym today as only got up intime for DH to go to work but will go tomorrow morning before he goes to work and that will have been me 3 times this week - not bad for a 50hr working week?!

tired today but DH on late shift and I'll be going to bed when the kids do - if you see me on here chuck me off!!!

dizzydixies · 29/01/2010 16:32

VG you're just sooooooooooooooooo lovely and I don't think it will be me as I still have 5 stone to go

at least I now weigh less than DH

VintageGardenia · 29/01/2010 16:32

Dizzy! Yay for you that is most impressive and you're the loser of the week so to speak! Well done!!

VintageGardenia · 29/01/2010 16:33

I reserve the right to send prizes to whoever I like as well as the goal achieving.

Didn't you read the small print in T&C? Sheesh.

dizzydixies · 29/01/2010 16:39

oh guys I've just read back and realised what a shit week you've all had am so sorry for blurting on I was just so excited at being able to sit down and log in for a moment, honestly I have had such a shitty, shitty few nights but apologies none the less and thank you - you lot keep me going on this

I've even started blow drying and straightening my hair for the first time in years, I've been so despondant about the way I've looked I haven't bothered my arse in ages

thank you

VintageGardenia · 29/01/2010 16:55

Dizzy we are all absolutely delighted for you! We are not such sour bitches that the fact that we are stalled mean we cannot take pleasure in your success. It's great about the hairdrying etc as well - I have been doing this too but largely because there are mirrors and hairdryers in the gym and everyone else is doing it so half the time I do dry it and it looks remarkably better when I bother! I tend to think curly hair = is always going look messy therefore no point going for a polished look, but actually doing nothing to your hair is not the same as looking like a slightly tousled celeb.

Sounds as if you have really taken off so well done & keep it up!

dizzydixies · 29/01/2010 16:59

thank you VG

VintageGardenia · 29/01/2010 17:03

Here I know it's not very HM but get your wee dizzy arse over here and give some biccy recipes an airing.

dizzy yaaaaaaaay!

am wighing tomorrow - i OUGHT to have lost (torture) but fele i may not have (urgh)

hotterpotter · 29/01/2010 20:04

Dizzy that's great well done at least we are not all cursed...

Loving the pep talk too VG, you are absolutely right in everything you say .

Will. Try. Harder

My big aim is to get to just under 11 6 when I will be in the normal range but that is still 10lb away so could take a million years little while.

9 weeks to my birthday so in theory 10lb should be doable but on recent form seems unlikely. Need to be in with a chance of winning the prize... so should I declare my target is still my pre-Christmas best which is just 4lb away?

I would like to lose 11 pounds so that would be one a week for me in eleven weeks - so howbout we split the difference and go for an eleven week stint?

Pots? Are you in? You others? My suggestion is each person state their goal within eleven weeks - ok - so you don't have to reach your actual goal weight to get the present - just reach the goal that you state now that you would like to have reached in eleven weeks.

Sazz: lose 6lb
VG: lose 11lb
Hots: lose 10lb

I think the prize might be a luxurious pot of Jo Malone body cream in your chosen scent (in honour of my name though I don't choose Vintage Gardenia for myself I think I choose Lime Basil & Mandarin). There can be more than one winner!!! And you can choose a candle or something instead if body cream gives you hives. This is a LUXURY YUMMY thing for your SEXY NEW BODY and your dh's and p's will be gobbling you up and you'll be wafting at the school gate and the talk of the office all slim and scented and it will all be just beyond fabulous.

VintageGardenia · 29/01/2010 20:49

Correction: it's not a PRIZE it's a PRESENT. No prizes.

hotterpotter · 29/01/2010 20:58

You are a very kind girl VG I'm in!
