What motivates you to diet?

I was just wondering what motivates you all to diet? What made you want to start dieting?

Personally my weight has gradually piled on over the years particularly since having children and being at home all day so able to pick at rubbish all day. It is looking at photo's and how disgusting I look that has really motivated me this time.

What motivated you to diet?

Hmmm, not really managed to find a successful motivator yet, which I know is ... I dunno ... disappointing. Yes.

Do I really need to lose weight?! Er, yep!!
Should motivation be more forthcoming?! Yep
Am I getting anywhere?! Nope
Do I expect to in the winter?! Nope!!

Depressing, I know. I don't know what else to do. The only thing I've ever considered vaguely successful was a drug that was based on speed that I took for about 12 months, and I lost about 21/2 stone, and I was thrilled, but then the drug was removed cause it makes BP go up, but as I was losing weight my BP was being maintained, so as soon as I'd stopped taking the drug my BP woulda dropped back to normal. The drug was called Reductil, and I never met anyone else on it, but it worked a treat for me, because it was an appetite suppressant, and that's EXACTLY what I need!!!
