I just wondered if anyone else are doing the Go Lower diet? I thought maybe we could chat about how we are finding it.

My sister did it - she went for the 28 day, lose a stone option. She lost about 1/2 a stone as she cheated a lot bit. She is adamant it wasn't a waste of money (I think it's expensive) as it gave her an idea of portion size/control and the concept of weight control by restricting starchy carbs and she felt is was a useful template for the future, going it alone. She was after a quick fix for some function or other.

I think she is back at her original weight now, although a bit firmer as she has started belly-dancing which she loves.

She's about a size 18 and 5'3". Not sure of actual weight.

Good luck if you try it - I can see the appeal of not having to think about what to cook or portion control. Some of the soups were horrid she said but the company were quite good at swapping them for things she liked.

I posted about it here a few months ago when she was considering it - maybe you can search for the post?

Thanks BobtheWoodmouse, I will look for your post. Sorry I missed it.

It sounds as if it worked for your sister at the time. Good to know that she still lost a decent amount even though she cheated although I am really trying hard not to cheat. So far so good!

Belly dancing sounds like good fun.
