Just been weighed after having terrible week and lost another pound - I'm amazed
13 weeks to holiday - do you think I'll make my stona and a half? Thats 6 and a half pounds so far

Loobz - that's only 1lb 2oz per week until your hols! Very doable I'd say, and losing at that rate you are more likely to keep it off. Well that's what I tell myself as I'm only losing 1lb a week and I want to lose 56lbs!!

Well done BAHB, I don't think I will be so successful this week. Fish and chips on Sunday and I just had curry for my tea. I did go for the low fat option though - tandoori chicken!!! I blame it on the heat , I can't be bothered to cook when it's too hot.

Thanks, fatmomma, but i was surprised at the loss, because i had had a bad weekend, foodwise! But i really stuck to it like glue from monday to try and make up for it, and it seems to have worked!! Now i am trying to lose the same this week, then i get my 2.5 stone award, never thought i'd be here!!!

Good news I lost 1 lb - that means I am back to where I was 2 weeks ago having put a couple of pounds back on again

Nose away BAHB . I am pretty much doing my own thing and weighing myself at home now. It all started out with a sponsored slim at work which gave me the incentive to get things started and I have just been trying to keep it up from there. It's very slow going but I am please that I have lost 1 stone now.

I'm not following any plan in particular but have cut out dairy altogether apart from one day a week when I allow myself some choccy. This is mostly due to the fact I am lactose intolerant. I have been losely following Paul McKenna's 'I can make you thin' rules:

Eat only what you want to eat.
Eat conciously (sp?) (this is supposed to make you taste every mouthful and notice when you are full).
Eat when you are hungry.

My main problem is that I don't eat regularly enough - I don't eat a huge amount, just the wrong stuff at the wrong time.

Are you following a plan BAHB (and everyone else)? You are doing brilliantly BTW, how long has it taken you to lose so much? I really need to get 4 stone off but would be very happy with 3.

I'm doing Slimming World. Started in January, like you do!!! Decided enough was enough and if i didn't do it now i probably never would!!

I tried Weight Watchers many years ago and lost 2 stone with them but I tried my local group here and didn't get on with it, not very welcoming. Plus I figured I will need to save my money for a new wardrobe when I have lost 4 stone!!! .

Off for my tea now, eating far too late as usual.

Morning! I am pretty much doing my own thng too. Started 1st FEb doing low fat..which suits me. Weight came of easily at first but am stuck a bit now! have lost 1stone 6lbs in total but Want to loose about the same again!!!!

I am doing slimming world too. Doubt if I'll lose anything this week though - have been very sociable. It's our wedding anniversary on Tuesday and we went out for a mexican on Friday evening. Then yesterday my Dh surprised me by taking me away to a hotel for the night. We ended up going for an indian then followed that with a few drinks. Need to start being sensible again now though

Oh Dear!!! Once again it is monday morning, and it has to be a diet of vegetables and water for the rest of the week!!!!

I wish i had more self control!!!

However, i was the only one at a bbq yesterday that stuck to water, not wine(and lots of it!!)
It's quite depressing being the only sober one!! At least i'm not suffering this morning, most of the others are bound to be!!![smug emoticon]!!!
