Acupunture-has any one used it for weight loss?

Have had a couple of sessions so far to try and get rid of the odd 2 stone I don't need . has any one tried it and did it work. Nothing happening to me so far! They have also given me chinese tea to drink. It's SOOO revolting i just feel like throwing up. Any one found a way of masking the 'flavour' - and it cost a fortune.
