nutcracker · 12/06/2005 10:22

I'm back again.

Current weight = 8 stone 13lbs

Target weight = 8 stone

Someone shout at me when i forget to post my loss please (if there is any that is)

mandyc66 · 12/06/2005 10:29

8 stone!!!! I would never get to that. I think my bones weigh more!!!!

BethAndHerBrood · 12/06/2005 10:47

LOL!!!!

I was thinking the same about 8 stone!!!!

But we shouldn't laugh really, it's how we feel about ourselves that matters, not what we weigh. (although i feel great having lost over 2 stone, but still want to lose more!!)I will never make it to 8 stone though!!!

Actually, i have no idea what my target weight is, but i would love to be able to wear a size 12, however i think a 14 is more realistic!!!!

nutcracker · 12/06/2005 11:15

I am only little though 5'2

BethAndHerBrood · 12/06/2005 11:52

I'm not much bigger - 5'4"

Mind you, 2 inches makes a hell of a difference!!

mandyc66 · 12/06/2005 12:15

like you say its how you feel and if 8 stone is how you feel you need to be then thats where you should be, so long as you are healthy.
Target weight? I havnt one, but would like to be in a 14. Managed that before number 4 arrived but no I have the added extra number 5 left so its a slog!!!Still wondering if I could have the baby bag removed!!!!

coppertop · 12/06/2005 19:29

I think I'm going to go back to writing down everything that I eat. Maybe it will stop me from reaching out for snacks when I'm not really hungry. I also notice that I started to eat more when I stopped drinking extra water.

Fennel · 13/06/2005 06:27

mandyc66 - do you mean you are losing weight after your 5th baby? or am i misreading your messages?

cannot imagine being 8 stone. am 5' 7'' and was 8 stone when about 13 maybe. my target weight is 10 st 7 (size 12-14).

coppertop · 13/06/2005 07:39

I was brave this morning and finally stepped back on to the scales - only to find that I haven't actually put any weight back on since straying from the Mamas a a few weeks ago.

mandyc66 · 13/06/2005 16:47

yes fennell trying to loose weight after my fifth baby!!
Dont expect to get slim slim but a little smaller would be nice!!!

Fennel · 13/06/2005 20:37

do you find it harder after each baby mandycc? I am losing it from my 3rd, who's now 14 months. it takes me longer each time and I am sure I am making more effort each time but it just doesn't come off as fast. i think I'd give up if it was for the 5th time!

Evesmama · 13/06/2005 21:39

erm.dont suppose half a family bag of mistels will help me along will it

fatmomma · 13/06/2005 23:27

mandyc66, I am surprised you have time to eat with 5 bambinos!!!! I struggle to fit it in with one - which is my problem btw. Eat nothing all day then pig out in the evening when I wont be burning anything off. Afterall, it doesn't take a lot of calories to site on mn all evening .

nutcracker - I am only 5'2" and I find I don't carry excess weight well at all, there is less body to spread it over IYSWIM. My long term aim is 9st, only another 3.5st to go . That's a stone more than my 2 year old ds weighs. Eeeek!

i lost 2lb this week. surprisingly as wasn't doing anything different. except drinking less wine - do I really drink that much usually that it makes a difference?

am off to Norway for 5 days with work so can't send my results at end of week but yorkiegirl I am still mentally here on this thread!

Titania · 14/06/2005 09:13

right!!! im in!!!! better go weigh myself first i guess.....eek!!

Titania · 14/06/2005 09:15

Not as bad as i thought........11 stone. I seem to stick at that....sigh....right....whats for breakfast????

mandyc66 · 14/06/2005 11:35

I dont know if its harder with each one or if its because I am a bit older with each one!!
Never lost weight easily. Manages to get down to a very nice 14 after my 3rd..but 7 years after!!! Think that was stress though!!! I enjoyed the gym back then too but the thought of that now!!!!!!lost a bit between 4 and 5 but not enough! I do put loads on whilst prg though! I really want to get a bit off before this wedding i am going to!!

BethAndHerBrood · 14/06/2005 16:24

mandyc66 · 14/06/2005 16:35

I got sent home from work ill today. Feeling a bit better now but want comfort food. So far have managed to resist but it's hard. Have had a really good week so far and dont want to blow it - get weighed tomorrow.
If I am okay tomorrow I am going back to work - need routine.

mandyc66 · 14/06/2005 20:56

are you all on specific diet?
