I must have wine. That's my only stipulation. Can't do without it.

I haven't weighed myself yet! Am trying to space it out so as not to drive myself demented. Just finished tuna and roasted veg which was nice...esp washed down with two glasses of red!
I will update after the w/e, and if I'm not any lighter i will be distinctly fed up.

tiredemma · 06/06/2005 10:25

were off to cala d'or in majorca, went there last year and loved it. It was the holiday photo's from last year that showed what a fat piggy i was becoming- swore i would lose weight, and now two weeks before we go im crash dieting to lose half a stone and walking up 10 flights of stairs every day to get into work.

i also have clothes that are too small that im determined to fit back into, i also refuse to buy new clothes as i dont have any intention of staying this size for much longer.

think im going to eat ice for the next week!

tiredemma · 06/06/2005 10:27

nutty, also do you eat all-bran? i have that for brekkie and it really fills me up till lunch, dont snack at all.

nutcracker · 06/06/2005 10:28

I want to lose it so I look stunning at college NOT

Just am sick of struggling to do clothes up and looking like i am pregnant.

I should book a holiday, would be something to lose weight for.

nutcracker · 06/06/2005 10:29

nutcracker · 06/06/2005 12:37

PMSL, the chances of that are about 1 in 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 you know

OK, this might just be fool luck and the fact of having a head start in that have quite a lot of weight to lose, BUT am finding the weightwatchers thing quite easy - cheating loads and still either losing or at least not gaining weight. The good thing is that you can eat as much as you want BUT it is of limited foods - basically grains/pulses/beans/veg/fruit/lean meat/fish/eggs/crispbread/low fat soft cheese (like Philadelhia) and NO BREAD which took a bit of getting used to but actually am forced to admit that Ryvitta tastes loads better than it looks. Because they list out absolutely every thing you can have unlimited amounts of (correction: until you feel 'comfortably full') it doesn't feel that limiting and after first day or so when was hungry haven't been hungry since and also am making an effort to walk more instead of getting the bus, so you can 'earn' treats like wine. You also get the option of having the odd treat now and then if you want - have simplified a bit as getting longwinded. Also if you are in the habit of needing something sweet after dinner then sugar-free jelly is a good substitute unless you hate jelly in which case it's rubbish. Don't think too hard about what they put in it instead of sugar. If you have a good local market you can get pineapples and cherries and things so that fruit doesn't feel like a chore. Actually feels like something I could maintain, although may have to try a bit harder once the first stone or so is gone. Best of luck.
