Hi

I cannot get into most of my clothes as have gained about a stone recently.

I would like to lose this stone......

Slimfast was on BOGOF so I bought two tins - a 12 day supply. I am determined to stick with it for the 12 days, exercise a bit more (am already pretty active) and then once I have finished the slimfast to try to control eating.

Has anyone had any sucess with slimfast or it is just a con?

Um, not sure of the calories in Weetabix but imagine that with semi skimmed milk it would be about 250 cals for 2.

So that would be all of the snackage for the day really.

What I would do it I were you is have:

Weetabix - 7am or whatever
Slim fast - 10am
Slim fast - 1pm
Apple/orange - 4pm
Dinner (600cal) - 7pm or whatever

So if you want the Weetabix, yeah have it, but remember that you can't really have the snacks as well.

Hope that helps.

I'm on day 7 now and haven't weighed myself - let you know in the morning!!

Hi. Jus wondering if this thread is still going.
I desperately want to loose about 8lbs and just cant get in the right frame of mind. I have a tub of slim fast and keep trying it but my problem is I get very shaky/ dizzy on it. I tend to need a good lunch in order to fill up and then I could probably manged a slim fast for tea. I also run alot so how do you guys manage on this and do lots of exercise?

Also what types of snacks can I have as dont have any bars.

Lets try and keep this going, will be back on tonight!

Hi npg1. I've been on slimfast for almost two weeks and have lost 9 lbs. I have a shake for breakfast, some fruit mid morning. Then for lunch I have ryvita with cottage cheese and salad. Then a shake with more fruit or a jacket potato and tuna/beans for tea.

The snack bars are roughly 90 calories, so instead of the bars you could have a slice of toast or a yoghurt for example.

Do you feel shaky because your blood sugar is low? Try having a banana or something oaty to help keep it steady if so.

Hope this helps.

I found it worked but gave me the squits .
problkem with slimfast is that you lose loads very fast and then your metabolism slows doen and difficult to shift anymeore
