Question about peanut butter

hercules1 · 28/06/2009 18:05

Okay, someone said costcos sell skippy peanut butter on a thread so off I popped al excited and bought a huge jar.

Is it naughty or a good idea to occasionally dip my finger in for a scrumptious snack as I figure it's protein, better than having it on bread as a snack, and my mother told me once it has good fat.

I am desperate to lose a stone. Will this snacking help or hinder?

a tube??

not a jar

gross-like a big poo

check the ingredients

Malkuth · 28/06/2009 18:13

Pretty much all snacking will hinder, sorry! Also if you dip a finger in you won't know how much you are really having. You would be better using a teaspoon then you can measure it (I have hit the part of losing weight where I can no longer cheat or kid myself!)

Malkuth · 28/06/2009 18:14

Oh and you could have it on celery as it is low cal but counts towards your 5 (or 10) a day!

hercules1 · 28/06/2009 18:15

It's a jar.
90% peanuts then sugar, partially hydrogenated palm oil, salt, peanut oil.

Oh, I am not at that stage yet!

Also had a feast earlier.
