Is anyone really happy being fat/overweight?

I'm not because I've got a dodgy knee and if I gain too much weight, it hurts. I also tend to gain weight round my middle, not good when you've got hypertension and a seriously strong paternal history of heart disease and you used to drink and smoke heavily.

So I've started to lay off the late-night snacks and do more walking.

I have a friend who is very overweight, never seems to be an issue for her at all, she is v attractive and v confident. Lesbo (like me) and I wonder if this makes any difference - although I am not at all happy about it when I am overweight.

I'm not, I need to lose about 1 stone, but more than that I need to feel fit and toned again.
I sort of shrink into the background when I feel fat, I don't like drawing attention to myself and my clothes all look rubbish.
I am not a very confident person anyway though, so it doesn't help.

Im fairly happy th way i am at the moment, i have lost 8lbs and am at SW but i am still a stone ad a half overwieght, i will loose it for health reasons but as i am at the moment, im not to unhappy.

I would rather be curvy and eat delicious meals that contain gorgeous Olive Oil than be skinny and not.

I have never been happy overweight no. I am very tall and have this sneaking suspicion that I look heffalumpish anyway - so extra weight makes that worse. And that is for my sake - not anyone else's - DH tells me I'm fine bigger, whereas I don't like it.
