How often do you weigh yourself?

I have the wii fit so it can weigh me on there at every use if I want. But is it best to wait at least a week in between? I am doing slimming world, breastfeeding and doing excerise so hoping for a loss!

i would do it once a week yes. your weight can fluctuate so much even within a day for a variety of reasons, so it can be off-putting to do it too often.
and if you do it once a week hopefully you will have lost a reasonable amount and that's always a good morale booster!

How often you weigh yourself depends entirely on you, and how you react to it!

I weigh daily, because that keeps me focused on what I'm doing and keeps me on track. However you do have to be prepared for the fact that your weight can fluctuate on a daily basis by as much as 3-4lbs, so it's best to look at it on a week-by-week basis, then you can see the overall trend.

I have a chart where I mark it each day, and it really does help to see the movement over a longer period. But it does sometimes seem hard when for no apparent reason you are suddenly 2lbs heavier than you were the day before!

When I'm really being good, I also keep a food diary, then if things aren't going the way I want (i.e. downwards!) that I can see if my food choices need to be adjusted.

If you're going to weigh daily, always weigh first thing in the morning, naked and after you've been to the toilet.
