where are you going yorkiegirl?

BethAndHerBrood · 11/05/2005 09:41

Well done, yorkie!!!

I like setting myself mini targets like that, they seem much more achievable than thinking, "OMG!! I need to lose 5 stone!!"

I've just had 2 bacon sandwiches in tiny bread buns, with tomato sauce on!! Yum yum!!

This is my kind of diet!!

marj · 11/05/2005 18:00

Hello again. Well, I joined slimming world on Monday and am virtually back to where I started in January. Bit peeved, but do deserve it.

I have only been doing this plan for two days but think its going ok so far. Good luck everyone for this week, motivation and fortitude!!!

Loobz · 11/05/2005 20:47

Have just been weighed and have lost 3lbs this week - am happy
Well done Yorkie!

BethAndHerBrood · 12/05/2005 09:32

Well done Loobz!!

I'm going to get weighed this morning. Fingers crossed!!!

Sonnet · 12/05/2005 09:38

Hi Girls - i joined you the other week but only Emailed Yorkiegirl on Tuesday with my weightloss.
I lost 1lb last week.
I have been swimming the last two evenings, no wine and eating heralthily. I go in holiday in 9 weekss and need to loose 15.5 lbs!!

What is/isn't working fo you all?

fairydust · 12/05/2005 09:39

can i join you all - joined SW last mon and have lost 7lb.

Looking for lots of motivation

Have started walking lots more - 1hr 40mins a day extra - now we're on the school run

BethAndHerBrood · 12/05/2005 16:53

Well, i don't know how it happened but i've put a pound on this week.

I'm sure their scales are wrong!!

Loobz · 13/05/2005 08:39

Hang in there Beth - it will come off next week.
I might need lots of support this week. Am on holiday from work - not doing anything, not going anywhere - but I don't normally cope too well when I have a change of routine Am going to try really hard though

Fennel · 13/05/2005 14:14

1 lb off for me this week. it doesn't seem much given the huge efforts I've been putting in.

like, on wed i cycled 10 miles and went to circuit training. yesterday I cycled 12 miles and played squash. and I am eating loads of steamed vegetable meals. I WANT PROPER RESULTS (sulking emoticon)

do you think it's really true that it's harder to lose weight after every baby? I am sure that in the past I would have lost weight properly on this sort of regime.

coppertop · 13/05/2005 14:20

I've stayed the same weight yet again (and must e-mail YG this week!). I swear I've been losing and putting on the exact same pound for weeks/months.

Today I gave in to the call of a small piece of carrot cake. I've walked 14,000 steps today so I'm hoping I've burned it off by now.

Motivation and fortitude here I come!

BethAndHerBrood · 13/05/2005 14:20

Fennel, my consultant told us that with exercise you see the results the week after, not the same week. Wether that's true or not, i don't know, but it might be a crumb of comfort!!!

Fennel · 13/05/2005 14:25

BAHM, yes, but I have been exercising hard for 3-4 weeks now. most days I do at least one thing (eg swim, jog, cycling, aerobics) and some days two. i do feel a lot fitter but in the end i want the scales to show it!

BethAndHerBrood · 13/05/2005 14:29

Who, exactly is BAHM??

Fennel · 13/05/2005 21:09

Sorry, beth and her brood (BAHM might be Beth and her man perhaps?)

marj · 13/05/2005 21:20

Well done everyone who has lost this week!
I am hoping for a loss on Monday as I have so far been very good - it has only been 4 days though!
