I havent done any exercise since I had DD (baby number 3) - had/have hideous PND and ended up losing a lot of weight but have recently put a lot back on.

I have started the couch to 5k running program and Im getting back in to my tae bo DVDs

Anyone want to join me and track progress and chat about getting fit (and how much it hurrrrrrrrrrtsssssssssss!)

morning

yes I started as a beginner (sort of) a couple of years ago I managed to get up to 3 miles for the Race for Life, so I felt like I was starting from scratch.

Just worked up slowly really started at 1 mile then the next week did 1.5 then 2.5 the next week. Each week I run about 2/3 times.

Once I got passed 3 miles the other miles seemed to add on quite easily. I don't count myself as a natural runner and I have to go at night otherwise I get far too hot and look like a raspberry!!!

Yesterday was not a very good day, still managed to fit a run in though.

FOOD planned for today
Branflakes
sardines and 2 slices of toast
haddock and new pots, peas.

EXCERCISE
1 hour dog walk
might...might go for a run.

Peckarolloveragain · 21/05/2009 12:31

did you lose weight and tone up as you got up to 3 miles? that is what I am aiming for

Food yesterday
Pasta for lunch

went wrong here! ended up going out for a meal with friends
shared a starter of potato skins
half pizza and half spaghetti arrabiatta!
glass of wine and a vodka and diet coke

OOOOPPPSSS!!!

Today Im going to eat very virtuously and Im definitely going for a run tonight.

Weigh in day for me tomorrow!

hiya
yeah the weight really did go
it just started to drop off once the running started.

I too have had a relapse
today:
branflakes
kitkat WHOOOOPPPS
cheese sarnie (on brown )
tuna pasta bake (yuk)

Actually having tracked it for the last few days I now see why i can't bloody shift this last stone I am going at it a bit half hearted.

MUST TRY HARDER>

Hiya

Im in a similar boat but my DC2 is nearly two and when i struggle to get into my size 16's I thought enough's enough. My history is a chubby teen, ballooned at Uni to 15stone! worked hard to get down to 11 and half (size 12) when I was 21 and let a few pounds creep on but never over 12 stone until I had DC! After DC1 lost it by the time he was 8 months after DC2 getting bigger if anything! So have got back in to running, only 1.5 miles and speed walk 50% of time but its a start.

Food today

Mini shredded wheats cup of tea
2 slices of toast one banana cup of tea half litre of water
Chicken breast, small scoop mash, carrots and peas but 1/2 bottle of wine!

Hi Choseone welcome !!!

I never mentally score my alcohol intake - I allow myself that one indulgence. prob another reason why I can't shift this last stone.

today I will eat
2 slices of toast
jacket spud and beans
cottage pie with parsnip topping.
